The Horse Racing Bet Tracker Built for Serious Punters
Horse racing betting is the most complex betting market there is. Each-way fractions, Rule 4 deductions, non-runners, full-cover systems with dozens of combination bets — no spreadsheet can keep up with it all at the racecourse. Apex Odds is a horse racing bet tracker app for Android that handles every bet type used in racing, from a simple each-way single to a 247-bet Goliath.
Used by punters tracking their bets across Paddy Power, BoyleSports, Betfair, Ladbrokes and more — Apex Odds gives you a full P&L picture across every race, every festival, every season.

Each-way bets are two bets in one — a win bet and a place bet. The place portion pays at a fraction of the win odds (typically 1/4 or 1/5 depending on the field size and race type). Tracking them manually means calculating win return, place return and total P&L separately for every bet.
Apex Odds does this automatically. Toggle each-way when logging a bet, set your fraction, and every return is calculated for you. Your running P&L for each-way bets is always accurate and up to date.
- Supports 1/4, 1/5, 1/6 and custom each-way fractions
- Tracks win and place legs separately
- Works with all race types — flat, jumps, national hunt, point-to-point
Rule 4 Deductions
When a horse is withdrawn from a race after bets have been placed, bookmakers apply a Rule 4 deduction to winnings. The percentage depends on the withdrawn horse's odds. Forgetting to apply Rule 4 means your P&L figures are wrong.
When settling a bet in Apex Odds, simply select the Rule 4 deduction percentage and the app adjusts your return automatically. Keeps your records accurate even when the race card changes.
Full-Cover System Bet Tracker — Yankee, Lucky 15, Heinz, Goliath
Full-cover systems are the bread and butter of serious horse racing punters. A Yankee across 4 horses generates 11 bets. A Lucky 15 generates 15. A Heinz across 6 horses generates 57 bets. A Goliath across 8 horses generates 247 bets.
Tracking these manually as results come in — which combinations won, what each returned, what your total P&L is — is a nightmare with pen and paper or a spreadsheet.
Apex Odds generates all the combination bets automatically when you log a system bet. As each horse's result comes in, the app updates every affected combination and shows your running total return in real time.
- Yankee (4 selections, 11 bets)
- Lucky 15 (4 selections, 15 bets including singles)

Set a reminder for any race when you log a bet. Apex Odds sends you a notification at race time so you never miss a result — useful during busy festivals like Cheltenham, Punchestown, Galway, Leopardstown Christmas, or the Curragh flat season.
Track Your Racing P&L by Festival and Season
Are you actually profitable at Cheltenham? Do you make money on jumps or only flat? Do your each-way bets return more than singles? These are the questions that separate informed punters from recreational ones — and you can only answer them if you're tracking.
Apex Odds shows your P&L breakdown by bookmaker, date range, bet type and more. Export to CSV for full season analysis.
